Terms & Conditions

1 The check-in service is available every day from 12:00. After 1pm it is possible to access the facility using an automatic entry system. For any problems you can contact the property by calling 055-216402 until 10pm.
2 Check-out must be carried out between 10.30 and 11.00. After this time you can leave your luggage at our storage, free of charge. There is a guest bathroom in check-out.
3 In case of early check-in, from 8:00 (not before) to 12:00 it is possible to access the room if available, otherwise, you can leave your luggage in our storage room, free of charge.
4 Service subject to room availability, it is not possible to book it in advance: late check-out, at a maximum cost of €120.00: the room is left at the disposal of our guests beyond the normal check-out time (see point 2 “Check-out service”). On the day of departure, the room will not be cleaned. The room must be vacated no later than 4:00 pm.
5 The Reception/Concierge is open every day from 8:00 to 13:00. After this time, access to the room can be done independently through an automatic opening system, using a numeric keypad and the personal code provided at the time of booking, active for the entire duration of the stay.
6 To reach our floor (2nd floor) there are 30 initial steps and then an elevator that takes you directly to the Soggiorno Antica Torre.
7 Payment conditions: in the case of a refundable rate, a deposit of 50% of the total is required 6 days before check in and the balance will then be paid at check in; in the case of a last minute rate, a deposit of 50% of the total is required at the time of booking and then the balance will be paid at check in; in the case of a non-refundable rate, the entire amount will be charged at the time of booking on the credit card provided as guarantee, the total amount of the reservation is not refundable under any circumstances and will not be returned in the event of cancellation or no show. If payment is made directly at the facility, the total payment is required on the day of arrival or at the latest on the day before the day of departure by credit card, debit card or cash. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and Debit Card. We do not accept American Express, Diners, JCB, checks, Traveller's Cheques.
8 Tourist tax: from 1 July 2011 the Municipality of Florence has established the tourist tax with resolution of the City Council no. 230/33 of 06/20/2011, integrated with resolution no. 21/2012. The tax applies to overnight stays of guests not resident in the Municipality of Florence and for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. The tax rate for this accommodation facility is €5.50 per person per night. The following exemptions are provided for: a) minors up to their twelfth birthday; b) individuals who assist patients hospitalized in local health facilities, including day hospital care, for a maximum of two companions per patient; c) patients undergoing hospital treatment on a day hospital basis; d) students enrolled at the University of Florence. A 50% reduction in the tourist tax is also envisaged in the following cases: a) middle school and high school groups on an educational visit; b) athletes under the age of 16, members of sports groups participating in initiatives and tournaments organized in collaboration with the municipal administration.
9 Reductions for children: children aged between 0 and 3 years stay free ONLY if they sleep in their parents' bed. However, if a cot/cot is requested, a supplement will be charged on the cost of the room equal to €15.00 per night per child. Children aged 3 to 11 years stay at a discounted rate of €25.00 per night per child. From 12 years onwards they are considered adults so any extra bed the cost is €40.00 per night per person.
10 Extra bed for adults costs €40.00 per night per person.
11 Some drinks that are inside the private fridge in the room have a specific cost which is expressed on the front of the fridge. There is a kettle available in the room, which can only be used with water and not milk, thank you.
12 Soggiorno Antica Torre offers an Italian breakfast included in the room rate. Breakfast includes only sweet pieces: classic and wholemeal croissants, classic and wholemeal biscuits, chocolate and cereal biscuits, chocolate and apricot tarts, slices of toasted bread, cereals, jam, Nutella, honey, English Breakfast tea and Early Grey, chamomile, regular and brown sugar. Furthermore, in the fridge the fresh breakfast always included in the room price includes: whole milk, whole chocolate milk, ace or orange juice, whole white yogurt, kiwi fruit, coffee creamer, butter.
13 The bathroom is private in each room. We provide a courtesy set for each person, which consists of a sponge bath towel, a sponge towel, a sponge bidet, a sponge bath mat (per room and not per person), a shampoo, a shower gel, a bar of soap and a cap shower. The bathroom is also equipped with a wall-mounted hairdryer.
14 Room cleaning is daily and takes place from 8:00 to 12:00 maximum. Please vacate your room during this time if you want it cleaned.
15 The change of bed and bathroom linen takes place on the third day after two nights' stay, only if you stay more than three nights. If the stay is three nights or less, the bed and bathroom linen will not be changed. For extra changes of bed and/or bathroom linen, which must only take place upon request by the guest and in any case within cleaning time, an additional cost per piece change is applied.
16 For requests to change the type of bed (from double to single beds or vice versa) or to add extra beds at check-in or after check-in, the additional cost is €10.00 per changed or added bed. This service is only available before 12.30pm.
17 No smoking: All our rooms and public areas are strictly non-smoking. Smoking ban throughout our B&B.
18 Each room is equipped with heating during the winter and air conditioning during the summer months. The thermostat in each room is independent and is regulated remotely and cannot be changed manually.
19 Pets: all pets are welcome completely free of charge. We provide a free dog bed, which we will place in your room, a welcome bowl and snacks. Please inform us of the dog's weight as we want to provide a kennel suitable for its size. We also have the possibility of providing a dog sitter if you need to be away for many hours to visit museums and churches. If you would like this service please let us know in advance so we can organize the staff as soon as possible.
20 Parking: our structure does not have a private car park, but uses an agreement with a paid private car park independent of the hotel: Garage delle Terme. Pricing depends on the size of the car and the time of year. The cost is the sole responsibility of the guest. You can book a parking space up to the day before arrival, thus benefiting from a €5 discount compared to the rates shown below. GENERAL PARKING INFO: Cost €45.00 per day for small and medium-sized cars, cost €50.00 per day for large cars and minivans. After 24 hours the cost is €4.00 per hour until a maximum of €25.00 is reached.
